What does the Cerberus app do?
Cerberus Personal Safety (Persona) is an invaluable tool for enhancing personal safety in potentially dangerous situations such as hiking alone or walking home at night. It complements the native personal safety/emergency functionalities provided by Android by adding automatic alerts when you could be in danger.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Specify some trusted contacts (friends or relatives), a place that you should reach and the time by which you should reach it. If you do not reach the destination by that time, the app will automatically send SMS messages to your trusted contacts with a link that they can use to track your location in real time.
Persona also has a widget that you can add to your home screen, to quickly share your real-time location with your trusted contacts in case of an emergency.
